SUMMARY:4th Symposium on Big Data and Research Syntheses in Psychology with a special focus on Machine Learning & Open Science
DESCRIPTION:You are invited to participate in the 4th symposium on big data and research syntheses in psychology to be held in Frankfurt am Main\, Germany (May 8–10\, 2023).We are pleased to collaborate with Europe’s Journal of Psychology (EJOP):Selected contributions from the symposium will be invited for full-text submission to a special thematic section of EJOP!The 2023 edition builds on the success of our prior events: \nResearch Synthesis and Big Data in Psychology\, May 17-21\, 2021\, online \nResearch Synthesis incl. Pre-Conference Symposium: Big Data in Psychology\, May 27-31\, 2019\, Dubrovnik\, Croatia \nTwin Conference Research Synthesis / Big Data in Psychology 2018\, June 7-9\, 2018\, Trier\, Germany \nThe symposium will address the question:Psychological research in times of big data: How can machine learning and open science help to cope with the information overload? What big data and research syntheses have in common is the challenge of dealing with large\, novel\, and ever-growing amounts of data in psychology. On the one hand\, data from social media\, as well as sensor data\, are of growing interest in psychology. On the other hand\, science is producing more publications and at a higher rate\, making it increasingly difficult to keep track of the current state of knowledge. In recent years\, machine learning has become a key tool to address these challenges. Methodological advancements along with freely available software\, as well as advances in data storage and computational capacities\, make it possible to deal with data of large volume\, velocity\, and variety. There are also promising applications for summarizing scientific evidence\, for example\, through automation in screening a large and dynamically growing body of literature. At the same time\, open science plays an important role: On the one hand\, to create more efficient workflows by sharing data\, methodological documentation\, technical tools and analysis scripts within science. Especially when applying machine learning methods\, transparent documentation and provision of the analysis code are indispensable for their reproducibility. On the other hand\, to make scientific evidence accessible and usable by communicating it to the outside world in a way that is understandable to laypersons. The symposium is scheduled to take place in Frankfurt am Main\, Germany\, in May 2023 and will last three days. On the first day\, introductions to open science and machine learning will provide the basics to the audience. The second day addresses different applications of machine learning\, with a focus on the areas of sensor data and social media\, as well as automation of research syntheses. Finally\, the third day is devoted to the importance and purposeful practices of open science: To improve workflows within science and make findings more available and understandable to the world beyond academia.

SUMMARY:Reproducibility and confidential or proprietary data: can it be done?
DESCRIPTION:CRRESS invites you to join our December webinar “Reproducibility and confidential or proprietary data: can it be done?“. Paulo Guimarães (Banco de Portugal\, BPLIM)\, John Horton (MIT)\, Lars Vilhuber (Cornell University) compose the panel. Aleksandr Michuda (Cornell University) will moderate the session. \nThe fourth panel of CRRESS\, The Conference on Reproducibility and Replicability in Economics and the Social Sciences\, will be held on December 13\, 2022. Exceptionally\, we begin at 12:15 PM Eastern Time\, earlier than other series sessions. \nRegister to join the session on Zoom. \nWhat happens to reproducibility when data are confidential or proprietary? Many journals can only ask that detailed access procedures be provided in a ReadMe file\, but what mechanisms could be used to conduct computational reproducibility checks on such data? Should authors temporarily share their data with the journal for the purposes of reproducibility verification\, even if they are not part of the public data replication package? Is it feasible to use a network of “insiders” to run code provided as part of a data replication package to assess reproducibility? Could a “certified run” be used? \nThe Conference on Reproducibility and Replicability in Economics and the Social Sciences (CRRESS) is a monthly series of virtual and in-person panels on the topics of reproducibility\, replicability\, and transparency in the social sciences. Each month\, a panel of experts will discuss a particular topic with relevance to the overall theme of reproducibility and transparency. We invite anyone with an interest in social science research to attend.  \nCRRESS is led by Lars Vilhuber and Aleksandr Michuda\, Cornell University\, who organize the panels together with Ian Schmutte (UGA) and Marie Connolly (UQAM). Funding by the National Science Foundation is gratefully acknowledged. Participation is free\, but registration is required. Learn more at https://labordynamicsinstitute.github.io/crress/.

SUMMARY:GESIS Meet the experts: “Linking surveys with electoral integrity assessments to explain political trust”
DESCRIPTION:This talk presents a linking approach that combines expert assessments on electoral integrity with survey data to study how electoral integrity affects the way in which election results translate into citizen attitudes towards the political system. It introduces a causal mechanism that links political losing to political trust via evaluations of electoral fairness: citizens who voted for the losing camp are more likely to view the electoral process as unfair than citizens who voted for the winning camp\, resulting in political distrust. It further suggests that the effects of political losing depend on the level of electoral integrity. In conditions where elections are conducted in a free and fair manner\, even those who voted for the losing camp have little reason to suspect foul play. Whenever there are actual indications of electoral malpractice\, however\, political losers have much more reason to doubt the integrity of the electoral process than those who are content with the election outcome. The analysis makes use of a unique dataset that ex-post harmonizes survey data from three cross-national survey projects (Asian Barometer Survey\, European Social Survey\, Latinobarómetro) and links this survey data with expert assessments of electoral integrity provided by the Varieties-of-Democracy (V-Dem) project to cover 45 democracies in Europe\, East Asia\, and Latin America. The talk details how respondents (in the survey data) were matched to elections (in the V-Dem data) and discusses challenges arising from survey fieldwork periods not being aligned with election cycles. \nSpeaker: \nDr. Marlene Mauk

SUMMARY:How to become a computational social scientist
DESCRIPTION:Scientific research and teaching are increasingly influenced by computational tools\, methods and paradigms. The social sciences are no different\, with many new forms of social data only available or practical through computational means (Kitchen\, 2014). \nWhile social science research has always been marked by technological approaches to some degree\, the field of computational social science involves the use of tools\, data and methods that require a different skill set and mindset. \nThis free workshop is an introduction to computational social science. It offers attendees a chance to understand and discuss what computational social science is\, what it is good for\, how to become a computational social scientist\, and the basic steps to follow in an ideal computational social science research project. \nThe workshop intersperses instruction with discussion and gives participants the chance to develop a research project idea through several steps. The workshop is suitable for absolute beginners and NO CODING SKILLS are required. \nPresenters: Dr J. Kasmire \nKitchen\, R. (2014). Big Data\, new epistemologies and paradigm shifts. Big Data & Society\, https://doi.org/10.1177/2053951714528481. \nLevel: Any level\, from absolute beginner to statistics whizExperience/knowledge required: No specific knowledge required\, but it will make much more sense if you currently (or plan to) conduct social science researchTarget audience: Social scientists who are interested in or confused by what computational and empirical social science is about\, or who know they want to start doing more computational work but don’t know how to get started \nWe will be using Mentimeter to ask questions in this workshop so you may benefit from having a second device ready for this\, such as a smartphone. \nThis event is part of our UK Data Service introductory training series: Autumn 2022.

SUMMARY:Train the Trainer: Anonymisation for data sharing in practice
DESCRIPTION:Summary \nThe goal of this event is to show trainers the tools they need to teach the fundamentals of data anonymisation and disclosure control in training sessions while also giving them hands-on experience with current open source technologies (sdcMicro). \nDescription \nOver the past few years\, there has been a noticeable growth in both the need for and the volume of data from surveys\, registers\, or other sources that hold information about individuals and/or institutions. At the same time\, rules and privacy protection principles have placed regulations on who can access and use personal data. Therefore\, application of statistical disclosure control measures (anonymisation) to the data prior to its release is required for proper and secure data sharing. \nIn the first part\, Jan Dalsten Sørensen from the Danish National Archives (DNA) will guide you through our anonymisation process and the thoughts behind it. The DNA contains a large collection of data\, collected from both scientific research and from the public administration. Of course\, anonymisation is a great tool to utilise the great scientific potential in these data without compromising the integrity of the data subjects personal information. However\, it is not always easy to handle in practice. In this part of the event you will learn more about how we work in a dialogue-based way with the staff involved in the anonymisation process. \nSecond part of the event will consist of two 45-minute sessions and a Q&A session afterward. In this part of the workshop the focus will shift towards available techniques and how to apply them using sdcMicro\, a free\, R-based open-source package. \nSome of the concepts and techniques that will be presented include k-anonymity\, top/bottom coding and aggregation with practical examples and recommendations on incorporating anonymisation into research designs. \nThe audience will be given access to the exercises and presentations that were utilised for future reuse. \nPreliminary programme: \n13:00 – 13:10 Welcome13:10 – 13:55 Anonymisation in practice at the Danish National Archives13:55 – 14:00 Break14:00 – 14:45 Basic concepts of anonymisation14:45 – 14:55 Break14:55 – 15:40 Working with sdcMicro15:40 – 16:00 Q&A \nRegistration form

SUMMARY:Ecological consumption and production
DESCRIPTION:A clean environment and sustainability are of fundamental importance for human health and well-being. Therefore\, we are organizing a timely data discovery event on Ecological consumption and production. There will be a brief introduction of the organizing data archive (ČSDA) and some of the data it contains regarding the environment and sustainability in a broader sense but also data that can be found on this topic elsewhere. The introduction will be followed by two presentations that draw on the data that either is already publicly available or is expected to be shortly. After each presentation\, there will be time for the questions from the audience. Especially researchers are encouraged to participate\, but the event could be of interest to a wider audience. The event is part of the CESSDA training activities. \nProgram: \n14:00 – 14:20: “Czech social science data archive as a gateway to data (not only) on ecological consumption and production”\, Martin Vávra (Czech Social Science Data Archive) \nThe introductory presentation will introduce the Czech Social Science Data Archive (ČSDA) and available environmental data with an emphasis on ecological consumption and production. \n14:20 – 15:00: “Sociological insights into the food gardening in the heart of Europe”\, Jan Vávra \nThe presentation will focus on home gardening (labelled often also as food self-provisioning) in the context of modern society. The representative dataset based on the questionnaires filled by more than two thousands Czech respondents in 2015 will be introduced and some of already published research will be presented. This insight into the available data accompanied with a little bit of theory will illustrate which sociological\, but also geographic\, economic or environmental aspects could be researched and what questions about sustainability of contemporary food systems and the role of gardening within society researchers could ask. \nJan Vávra works in the Department of Local and Regional Studies of the Institute of Sociology of the Czech Academy of Sciences. He is an environmental sociologist nowadays mostly dealing with the social\, health and environmental context of gardening as informal food production. Jan is co-chair of the Environmental and Rural Section of the Czech Sociological Society. \n15:00 – 15:30: “Environmental behaviour of Czech households and individuals with a focus on food waste”\, Radka Hanzlová \nFood waste is a significant social\, environmental\, and economic problem that is often overlooked. At the same time\, it is an issue that everyone can contribute to solving through their behaviour. In my presentation I would therefore like to look at the problem of food waste primarily in relation to the environment\, focusing on individuals and households. What do people buy food on? Do people think about the environmental impact of the production of the food they buy and consume? Is the way people eat related to their environmental mind-set? What environmentally friendly activities do people do in their households? Do people buy organic food? These are not the only questions I will answer in my presentation. The results are based on data from the representative surveys “Food” carried out within the framework of the research programme of the AV21 Strategy – Food for the Future and “Our Society” carried out by the Public Opinion Research Centre. \nRadka Hanzlová is a PhD student in Sociology at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University and works as a researcher at the Public Opinion Research Centre of the Institute of Sociology of the Czech Academy of Sciences\, where she deals with the research topic “Food Waste as a Global and Local Problem”.

SUMMARY:New Data Types in Data Management and Archiving
DESCRIPTION:Summary \nNew Data Types in Data Management and Archiving workshop will focus on the management\, archiving and access to new types of data\, i.e. administrative\, transactional and social media data. The program will consist of four presentations tackling various issues related to handling the new types of data in data repositories and sharing these data in the community of social researchers. The speakers’ presentations will be followed by the panel discussion\, where audience members are encouraged to participate and bring in their own experiences of archivists\, data managers and researchers. The event is part of the CESSDA training activities. \nProgram: \n14:00 – 14:20: “Current capacities among CESSDA SPs for handling new data types”\, Martin Vávra (Czech Social Science Data Archive) \nThe talk will be focused on the current strengths and weaknesses of the CESSDA archives with regard to handling new types of data. The presentation relies on findings from a survey of CESSDA Service Providers carried in 2021\, and brings forward information about the archives’ strategies for the handling of new data types\, as well as their actual experience with the new types of data. \n14:20 – 14:40: “Proposals for a More Coordinated Approach to Handling New Data Types Across CESSDA SPs”\, Brian Kleiner (FORS) \nThis presentation will put forward several proposals for a range of activities that could be implemented within CESSDA to help SPs better coordinate and benefit from synergies with respect to handling new data types. The aim will be to stimulate discussion among SPs about how such proposals could be put into action in a realistic way\, given limited resources.  \n14:40 – 15:00: “Social Media Data Sharing in Social Research”\, Yevhen Voronin (GESIS) \nThe talk will present the results from an online survey of social scientists using social media data for their research and having published journal articles based on social media data between 2018 and 2021. The presentation will cover reasons why researchers do not share social media data and challenges while sharing (or considering to share) these data\, and predictors of different intentions to share social media data. \n15:00 – 15:20: “Social Science in the Embattled Digital Age: Adversarial Creation\, Use and Sharing of New Data Types”\, Pascal Jurgens (Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz) \nThis presentation will introduce a data scientist’s personal experiences regarding new data types – from data collection\, self-archiving\, analysis\, and publishing across open data/open source and commercial projects\, along with ethical implications. It will include ethical\, legal\, political and pragmatic perspectives regarding future challenges and opportunities for archives. \n15:20 – 15:30: Break \n15:30 – 16:20: The panel discussion

SUMMARY:Online workshop: Using the Geographical Information System QGIS for data analysis
DESCRIPTION:Geographical and georeferenced data are gaining increasing importance in social science research. For example\, it is becoming more common to add geographical data related to the social or physical environment as contextual variables to social surveys or to aggregate social survey results at various geographical scales. Using geographical data in our research necessitates additional analytical skills and workflows\, usually related to some sort of Geographical Information System (GIS). GIS can be defined as a collection of tools to process\, analyze and visualize data containing spatial information; such tools have been developed as “packages” for statistical software R or for the programming language Python\, but these require intermediate to advanced coding skills. On the other hand\, there are also GIS software solutions by various corporations which may be unaffordable for certain contexts\, such as independent researchers of non-governmental organisations. \nFor this workshop we will be using the free and open source software QGIS\, which is widely available and fully maintained by a strong community of volunteers and supporting organisations. In addition to the main QGIS software\, there is a wide range of training material produced by the QGIS community and many educational and research institutes. \nIn this workshop\, participants will learn how to use QGIS for basic data processing and introductory spatial analysis. They will also learn about common GIS formats\, importing data\, processing them for further analysis and mapping their results. \nPresenter: Dr Serafeim Alvanides\, GESIS – Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences \nProgram \n13:00-13:30: Introduction: GIS what is it and how to use it13:30-13:35: Exercise 1: QGIS Warm up13:35-14:00: GIS formats and Tabular Data Processing14:00-14:45: Exercise 2: Working with attribute tables14:45-15:00: Break15:00-15:30: Spatial data analysis and mapping15:30-16:15: Exercise 3: Working with spatial data16:15-16:30: Closing\, Q & A

SUMMARY:Webinar “Uloga časopisa u poticanju pristupa istraživačkim podacima”

SUMMARY:Mapping crime data in R: Live code demonstration
DESCRIPTION:Do you want to display crime data on maps but don’t know how? Crime data often contains spatial components. As a result\, analyses of crime data can create patterns that are clearly linked to geography. Naturally\, putting the data or analysis on a map makes a lot of sense. Unfortunately\, if you have never matched statistical data to spatial data then you may not know how easy it can be to make beautiful data maps! That’s where this workshop comes in! \nThis is the second of two free Mapping crime data in R workshops. The first session will cover some fundamental theories and concepts surrounding GIS and spatial data. This session will be a live code demonstration using R to explore these concepts. \nThe aim of these workshops are to teach participants to use the R statistical and graphical environment to map open-source police recorded crime statistics onto geographic representations. \nMore specifically\, we will: \nuse R packages such as ggplot\, sf and tmaps\,briefly explore open-source crime data using Surrey as an example\,introduce how to download\, import and use spatial data in the form of shapefiles\,demonstrate how to join crime data to shapefiles\,introduce classification methods\,use census data to accurately map crime rate. \nPresenter: Nadia Kennar\, UK Data Service \nEvent Level: Beginner \nPrerequisites: This workshop is suitable for intermediate (or higher) users of R but there is need to have experience with GIS software or spatial data. Users should be comfortable with how to set the working directory in R\, how to read in data\, how to write basic R functions and how to save scripts and output files. R and Rstudio must be already installed. \nTarget Audience: Researchers/anyone interested in crime and spatial data

SUMMARY:Data Spaces & Semantic Interoperability
DESCRIPTION:The continuously increasing number of data spaces and data markets in Europe\, as well as the related funding lines and regulations by the European Commission (for instance the Data Governance Act and several programme lines in Horizon Europe and Digital Europe) regarding the topics of (secure) data sharing of industrial and personal related data as well as research data clearly shows the increasing need to discuss\, specify and realise (semantic) data interoperability between such data spaces and beyond. \nA discussion about (semantic data) interoperability for data spaces includes (i) data space use cases\, (ii) requirements for interoperability\, (iii) existing and new standards in the field and (iv) technical solutions in place and in development\, (v) working and proven tools & technologies\, as well as (vi) legal issues and licenses\, besides other topics. \nThe assumption is that the concept of a data space as defined in IDSA and W3C‘s work on Linked data are complementary. IDSA is a big user of Linked data specifications and complements them with “connectors” to legacy systems. While W3C provides vocabularies like ODRL for constraints and provenance for data quality\, an IDSA data space has a concrete instance of those vocabularies specifying what can be done in a data space\, how data is shared and which limitations and obligations apply. \nThis one-day workshop brings together researchers\, decision makers and practitioners in the field of the development and operation of European data spaces\, data markets and other web-based data management systems that allow data sharing\, trading and data collaboration\, to discuss requirements\, standards\, tools\, licenses and more regarding (semantic data) interoperability in data spaces.

SUMMARY:Introduction to copyright: Copyright and publishing
DESCRIPTION:This workshop is the first of two on ‘Introduction to Copyright’. The first session focuses on copyright considerations in the context of publishing while the second session focuses on copyright issues in secondary data use. \nCopyright is an area of scholarly communications that affects every researcher at some stage of their academic career. Engaging with copyright is therefore crucial to any involvement in both publishing and teaching\, affecting individuals\, and potentially the reputation of the institution. \nThe first session will introduce attendees to the brief origins of copyright with a focus on copyright considerations in both publishing and teaching. By the end of the session\, attendees will have a better understanding of different terms and licences available for publishing in different formats. \nAttendees will also be familiar with the blanket copyright licences that the UK Higher education institutions tend to utilise for teaching. Furthermore\, common copyright questions will be addressed and the importance of appreciating the situation-dependent nature of copyright will be highlighted. \nThis session links to the following areas of the Research Development Framework: \nresearch planning and publishingpublishing and open access \nThere will be time at the end for questions and discussion. \nPresenters: Hannah Pyman and Dr Hina Zahid \nLevel: IntroductoryExperience/knowledge required: NoneTarget audience: Researchers/anyone interested in copyright considerations in publishing and teaching \nWe will be using Mentimeter to ask questions in this workshop so you may benefit from having a second device ready for this\, such as a smartphone. \nThis event is part of our UK Data Service introductory training series: Spring 2022.

SUMMARY:Persistent Identification of Instruments
DESCRIPTION:Instruments play an essential role in creating research data but they are often only identified in the scientific literature using free text. Through the use of globally unique\, persistent identifiers (PIDs)\, it is now common practice to establish traceable links between research assets. This webinar introduces the Outputs of the RDA Persistent Identification of Instruments Working Group. Of particular focus are the metadata schema for persistent identification of instruments and the proposed solutions for publishing PIDs for instruments at established PID providers. Participants will learn of numerous infrastructures that have adopted the PIDINST Schema as well as B2INST as an EUDAT prototype service for low-barrier registration and persistent identification of instruments. \nThis webinar is designed for instrument database providers\, instrument manufacturers\, research infrastructures\, and researchers.

SUMMARY:Data Description and Metadata – What it takes to produce a good one?
DESCRIPTION:Finding relevant research data is tremendously easier if the data are described in detail using controlled vocabularies and discipline-specific metadata. But this is still not enough. Data descriptions should be descriptions of data\, scope\, collection methods and use\, not published research outputs and results. This skill is important for anyone describing research data in repository services\, libraries\, or research-producing organisations. \nIn this webinar\, experts from the Finnish Social Sciences Data Archive and Danish National Archive\, both service providers for CESSDA\, will explain how data are processed and described and what ingredients are needed from a researcher to produce rich metadata describing datasets. In addition\, the tools supported by CESSDA for metadata production are presented. Participants will gain a clear understanding of what the elements of a good data description are and how it makes the research data better discoverable. \nThe focus of this webinar is on data curators who produce descriptive\, provenience\, or technical metadata\, but also on researchers who are often asked to produce at least entry-level metadata regarding their datasets for self-archiving or before depositing to a data archive. Content is relevant to anyone who describes data in archives\, libraries\, or research-producing organisations. \nProgramme outline \nIntroductionCESSDA and its services related to data description and metadata production and useWhat is a data description and how to produce a good one?Describing data in practice: FSD and DNA as case examplesMetadata in use: harvesting\, reuse\, licensingDiscussion and Q & A

SUMMARY:Data in the spotlight: Longitudinal data
DESCRIPTION:This online workshop will present an overview of the longitudinal studies available via the UK Data Service\, the key features of longitudinal surveys and the policy relevance (impact) of the information they contain\, how to access the data\, undertake exploratory online analysis and get further help. \nDid you know that longitudinal data from major social studies such as the British Birth Cohort Studies\, Understanding Society and the English Longitudinal Study of Ageing can be accessed for research? \nThe longitudinal studies are extremely rich data sources for high impact and policy relevant research. The British Birth Cohort Studies (e.g. the National Child Development Study 1958 and The Millennium Cohort Study) follow the same group of children born in a specific year throughout their lives\, tracking changes and unravelling the reasons behind them. Understanding Society is an innovative and world-leading study about live and its changes in the UK in the 21st century. The real world impact of these studies continues to be substantial. Additionally\, the Covid-19 pandemic has created a defining moment for longitudinal research. \nLongitudinal studies provide a unique opportunity to track both short and long term effects of the pandemic\, alongside invaluable pre-pandemic measures of health and behaviour. Many longitudinal studies have added Covid-19 specific datasets and we will explore what some of these cover. \nMost of the studies can be downloaded after a short registration. Subsamples of some of these datasets are also available for teaching purposes. \nThis free 90-minute online workshop will consist of a 30-minute presentation\, followed by 20 minutes for questions\, and an optional 40-minute hands-on practical. The presentation and hands-on are separate parts of the workshop and attending the hands-on is optional. \nThe workshop will include: \nan overview of the longitudinal studies available via the UK Data Servicea tour on how to navigate our new website to search for longitudinal studiesquiz and participant interactionupdates and findings from Covid-19 datasetsthe key features of longitudinal surveys and the policy relevance (impact) of the information they containhow to access the data\, undertake exploratory online analysis and get further help. \nPresenters: Beate Lichtwardt and James Rayner.Level: Introductory.Experience/knowledge required: None.Target audience: Researchers/anyone interested in longitudinal data.

SUMMARY:Online workshop: Using the statistical language R as a Geographic Information System
DESCRIPTION:This event is a hands-on workshop on Geographic Information Systems for social scientists with some experience in R. \nGeospatial data have become an emerging topic in social science research. When we aim to use these data in our study\, we have to rely on a set of analytical skills facilitated by the exploitation of Geographic Information Systems (GIS). We also have to be aware of changes in our data management workflows\, originating in issues concerning data privacy and new data types. Meanwhile\, GIS is a collection of tools to visualize\, process\, and analyze geospatial data. Yet\, using GIS can get intimidating since we often have to rely on foreign software solutions to achieve our geospatial data processing goals. The good news is that we can also use the statistical software R as a proper GIS nowadays. Over the last years\, the range of supported file formats in R was expanded. Most importantly\, it became so much easier to wrangle complex geospatial data. In this course\, participants will learn about using R as a GIS and applying some first geospatial methods. They will also learn about the most common data formats\, import data\, and process them for further analysis\, and also creating maps and other features. \nThe program:09:00-09:30: Introduction: Data Management & Geospatial Data09:30-09:35: Exercise 1: R Warm up09:35-10:00: Data Processing & Spatial Linking10:00-10:30: Exercise 2: Geospatial Data Wrangling10:30-10:45: Break10:45-11:15: Easy Maps11:15-11:45: Exercise 3: Build your own map11:45-12:00: Closing\, Q & A \nPresenter: Dr Stefan Jünger\, GESIS – Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences.
